Teni Battle ver. DX figure

Here is the Teni photosession finally! Be prepared for some Gothic Lolita fanservice and as she is a cast-off I guess drooling can’t be avoided ^_^

Kinda sleepy today, but after some RedBull Cola and taking GL pantsu shots I’m fully awake. (If this combination doesn’t wake you up you are most likely dead)

Ok, lets get back the figure: Teni was already released last year wearing a red dress. I’m glad Griffon Enterprises decided to release the original black version this January.

For those who don’t know her: Teni is a character from Ikki Tousen Dragon Destiny. She is shown in her “battle gear” in which she fights against Ryomou on a random-graveyard in episode 4 & 5. (That’s why I choose a pic from Glendalough, renowned for its Early Medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century. Visited the monastery four years ago on my Ireland trip.)

As you might have already seen above Teni is standing on a gravestone…

…which is not mounted to the base!!! Was a little bit afraid that she might fall over from time to time. But the sculptor did a great job cause this figure is perfectly balanced. I’m displaying her without the base cause there isn’t much space left on my shelves, again!

Hope you liked the pics. I’m really sry but atm I’m not really able to pull of awesome stuff or be very active in the community. Didn’t thought that it is that hard to stay up to date if you are @ the army during the whole week.

And as I’m already speaking about the army:

Ze hikky got a rank upgrade last week! My rank is Gefreiter now. I’m not really sure what’s the equivalent in English. I guess it’s Private (OR-2) but according to the Austrian Armed Forces homepage it is Lance Corporal. Any army specialist here?

Yeah I’m still alive! Another two parcels arrived @ home last week. One from yesasia.com containing the first Kalafina album Seventh Heaven (ALBUM+DVD, First Press Limited Edition, Japan Version) and a huge one from Archonia.com with this 30cm tall Teni figure from Ikki Tousen.

Will do a detailed figure review soon. I’m quite lazy cause I had to do guard duty three times this week, which means very little sleep, that’s why I was sleeping for ~15 hours last “night” lol

The Kalafina album is made of win! Listening to it since hours. Just had to press “Pause” cause I’m watching “The Sky Crawlers” in HD atm.

Comes with a nice booklet and a DVD with their official Music clips and some Live Acts.

Kanu und Ryomou outdoor photo session

The weather became finally better yesterday (quite sunny and temperature ~28°C) so I grabbed Ryomou and Kanu for an outdoor photo session that I planned to do since Monday.
The photos turned out better than I thought since I had to use my old camera because my “new” Olympus was used elsewhere yesterday.

So let’s start with Kanu:

Conclusion:

I’m very satisfied with those two. Kanu’s pose is really cool. It looks like she knees somewhere in the open, wind blowing trough her hair, and she is ready for her next fight. The quality is very good and I couldn’t find a single failure. And her GL-dress… omg

Ryomou’s pose fits her very well and her short skirt caused several *nosebleeds* last week.

But Ryomou’s paint job is not perfect. There are small scratches and a dab of non-glossy black paint on her skirt. The upper end of her stockings and the crossed parts of her uniform at her back are a little bit sloppily painted. (The failures are not that big and you can see them only when you are very near to her…hehehe…xD)

Although Ryomou is my favorite Ikki Tousen character forever:

Kanu wins this time, cause the quality is better (even though Kanu was cheaper).
