Sengoku Rance English patch and a missing monitor

Guess what’s missing on my desk…

Right, one of my Syncmaster T240s is missing!

Why? Because I need some space for the new 27” Quadcore iMac which will be shipped in a few weeks!

Ok ok, not really. Actually I came across a problem with the monitor. Every time I opened up a webpage with a lot of white stuff, for example Wikipedia, the right T240 began to hum. Sounds weird but looks like I’m not the only one facing this problem according to the interwebs.

Contacted Samsungs TechSupport yesterday and they will pick it up tomorrow.

The monitor will be check at Samsungs secret bunker somewhere in the Austrian mountains I guess.

My productivity decreased 95%. Once you go dual you can’t go back!

So in the next days I will probably miss a lot of tweets and such.

Not just because of the missing monitor but also because version 1.00 of the Sengoku Rance translation patch was released! Thx to the folks over @ Yandere Translations!

You can grab it here: http://yandere.gray7.com/?p=652

Make sure to install this small fix too: http://yandere.gray7.com/?p=662

Oh shi…

Oh and I finally managed to get rid of my tower of waifu boxes.

Didn’t look very neat after all…

Moved the boxes to my bedroom and transferred the additional parts to this “waifu addon storage” thingy~

~hikky off~

EDIT: 2009-10-22, 14:50: Got a call from the Samsung logistics department (?). They will pick up the monitor on Tuesday! Fail! Unboxed my second monitor right after that call of course…

And btw: The Windows 7 drivers for my HP All-in-one thingy are finally available!

    Hmm… There is one thing that is even better:
    One normal, one HDTV and one FullHDTV. That’s my idea I got from some days. xD

    2 Screens maybe a good idea, but the case of the TFT is bad. And sry.
    Until now I didn’t found them!

    “Because I need some space for the new 27” Quadcore iMac which will be shipped in a few weeks!”

    I would’ve believe ya if I hadn’t read ur reply comment first. ;)

    At least it’s not a dead-pixel problem because I’ve heard they are more troublesome. -_-

    @GREW
    Eh wut? Those monitors are 1080p, so what?

    @yonasu
    Put it under the bed?

    @phossil
    Yah, i didn’t believe it at first either. Rly weird.

    @zh3us
    I didn’t throw them away either! Hm don’t you have some storage room or stgh like that?

    @Jamaipanese
    Second monitor temorary reactivated. I’m back, until Tuesday.

    @Optic
    Yeah, dead pixels can occur and a certain amount is even “tolerated” which means you wouldnt get a replacement afaik.

    I’ve read that about Samsung monitors too, mine hums as well during the short moment when you power off the computer and it no longer gets any input but doesn’t go into standby yet.
    Hope yours is fixed soon!
