Just woke up and and was catching up on the latest news in the blogosphere when I came across this weird Doodle on Goggle. Clicking on it links you to a goggle search window with the search terms: “unexplained phenomenon” (.co.uk) and the localized versions like “Rätselhaftes Phänomen” (.at/.de), “超常現象” (.co.jp), “необъяснимые явления” (.ru) and so on…

.

Russian and UK version above. Doesn’t show up on google.com. Maybe later today?

.

The interwebs doesn’t have an answer what this Doodle stands for yet. do you have an explanation? Are the extraterrestrial combat meidos coming TODAY?

.

UPDATE:

Google Tweeted this a few hours ago: 1.12.12 25.15.21.18 15 1.18.5 2.5.12.15.14.7 20.15 21.19 ( http://twitter.com/google/status/3772868874 ).
If you replace the numbers with letters you get: "all your O are belong to us" a reference to “All your base are belong to us". Thats why the UFO kidnaps one of the O’s in Goggles logo.
