[Figure] Who’s this mysterious mahou shoujo?
Those who did read my last blog post know that this is…
…Fate Testarossa from my last haul.
Most collectors will know her, because she was released in November ‘06. I’m really happy that I was able to find her in an European shop where she is still available. As I’m completely addicted to Feito-chan the price and quality didn’t matter this time.
But first of all the facts:

The lightning may be a little bit none-perfect, but I took the pics around 17:30 today yesterday, while the sun was already going down.

I can’t really imagine how Bardiche will sound with an female voice in the upcoming Nanoha movie.
Thanks to the character designer for the ten thousandth time, her body-suuuto is so gorgeous.
Seems like her cape gathered all the dust flying around her while she was waiting for me the last two years.
That’s why Fate had to join the figure cleaning fun
(using the ~DESU-APPROVED LEN-VESPER-METHOD~) earlier yesterday afternoon.
Black pantsu, black stockings… *fapfapfap*
Blonde twin tails in the evening light = WIN!
Most important: backside pantsu shot.
This stand comes with Fate. It might not look very aesthetic but I’ll bear with it cause otherwise this figure starts to lean and her arms tend to bend downwards. (As some owners will know.)
That’s the biggest base in my small collection until now. Her boots have a nice metallic look.
Her overall quality/paintjob isn’t perfect but with her pose and her over dimensional sword she’s definitely an eye catcher.

And who told you about Archonia ?

Yes, Archonia is really cool, some figures are even cheaper than in Japan.

Ich bevorzuge immer noch die Fate von Alter. Irgendwie verwendet Good Smile Company immer ein PVC, das nicht besonders dolle aussieht. Wie ich bei meiner neuen GSC Miku leider auch wieder einmal feststellen musste. Ab sofort kaufe ich nur noch Figuren von Alter – wobei die Nendoroids von GSC wiederum sind allerliebst und auch das Material stimmt. Bah.
Die Alter Fate in ihrem Wetlook-body-suto ist aber leider vergriffen…Schweinerei
Bzgl dem Material lässt sich streiten, bei den Shurakis zB sieht es meiner Meinung nach gut aus, aber ich kann das mit meiner Mini-Sammlung noch schlecht beurteilen. Bei der GSC Fate sind vor allem ihre leckeren Twintails etwas zu undetailliert und sehen eher nach billigem Plastik aus.

oh yeah and it seems you have more knowledge about camera settings than me^^ I have no idea how to pull off a shot like your last one.

@Blowfish comment #2: xD The only thing that prevents epic shots atm is the camera itself, sometimes it genrates just too much noise… but I can’t afford a DSLR atm, need all my money for figures^^

Mir gefällt die Alter Fate auch besser *gespannt auf die Alter Hayate und Signum warte*. Wobei, wäre die GSC Fate auf der Connichi nicht so verdammt teuer gewesen, hätte ich sie trotzdem gekauft xD

Aber wie gesagt sobald Fate im Spiel ist deaktivieren sich meine Qualitäts- und Kontolimitsensoren.

Hab sie aber auch erst nach den Geld ausgeben gesehen. sonst hätte ich sie wohl trotz des hohen preises gekauft. Hatten da noch n paar schöne Figuren aba auch so teuer >_<
@Blowfish: Yup, aus eigener Erfahrung weiß ich, dass mit Engrish auch Sarkasmus und Ironie den Bach runter geht.
@jimmpantsu: oO 80€ sind schon ordentlich heftig. Da würde man(n)ja beispeilsweise schon fast eine 1/4 Freeing Asakura bekommen…

it’s a shame gsc fate needs the stand for long term display but as you say, better than leaning. good stuff, always enjoy fate pics ^_^
