A new anime I haven’t heard about yet.. What would you expect to see?

The surprising thing is: After one episode I can say: I’m In!

 

I’ll give you a short summary of the first episode, but attention:

 

This are just my impressions, if there is someone reading this who has read the manga, feel free to correct me, but please without spoilers .

 

The story starts with some monks(?) babbling some chants(?).

 

After that the scenery changes to impressions of a destroyed city (or world?).

 

A guy is jumping through the sky and as he lands on his feet the scenery has changed again und he is running  trough a forest  being chased by some guys how turn out to be…

 

…zombie-samurai…things^^

 

The guy (his name is Kuro) fights against them…

 

…but stops as he suddenly feels faint. Fortunately another guy intervenes and kills all those samurai-zombie-things.

His name is Benkei and he turns out to be a subordinate of Kuro. While those two talk for a little bit, you learn that Kuro’s brother wants to kill him and it seems like those two try to escape his brothers soldiers.

 

They find a house in the middle of the forest, which seems quiet deserted first…

They enter it and as the shout, a female voice answers…

 

 

OMG, black hair with such an cut is hawt! ( At such a point I wonder why Japanese girls dye their hair… To get a weird brown??.. ährm, ok lets continue…).

As you will see later, her name is quiet fitting in my opinion: Kuromitsu (literally "black honey”).

 

While Benkei talks to her about staying for a night at this place, Kuro feels unwell again (or is he just suffering from some *nosebleed*? ). Kuromitsu touches his forehead and finds out that he has a high fever. She allows them to stay under one condition: ”Not to peek in the room in the back of the house under any circumstances!”

 

Nice mysterious look, eh?

 

 

 

O
n the next morning…

…while Benkei tries to find medicine for Kuro-sama…

…Kuromitsu verifies with a interesting method, that his fever is already gone.

 

After that those two go for a walk in the forest, one thing leads to another…

…but Kuromitsu isn’t a women who wants some fast outdoor-rape-action, and as Kuro realizes that he apologized for offending her… orz^^

 

Next scene: Kuro hears/feels that the enemy is near (???)…

Where do you think he goes now? Right, to the room in the back.

 

Where Kuromitsu enjoys some fresh blood xD

 

As she notices him, she tries to explain herself, but while he tries to tell her, that what he has seen before doesn’t matter for him, he notices  a guy standing behind her…

 

…who cuts off Kuromitsu’s  right arm! oO WTF?

 

Seconds later another guy attacks him from behind…

…while the roof is set on fire.

 

 

As Kuro lies on the ground he sees the attackers. One of them is going to stab Kuromitsu to death. Ohh noes!

 

But Kuro pulls himself together and cuts of the villains arms. SPLATTER! NICE JOB!

He kills one more of the guys, but the last one (the one how attacked Kuromitsu from behind) impales him on his sword.

While Kuro is lying in a pool of his own blood, he notices at something behind his enemy…

EPIC WIN!!!! Kuromitsu isn’t dead, she looks even better than before now xD

 

She isn’t very gentle now and kills the last attacker while licking of some blood from her arm. Delicious?

 

At that time Kuro realizes what two guys who watched the events from afar already know:

“Kuromitsu is immortal!”

 

Last scene: Kuro is nearly fading away and is telling her that he wanted to flee to somewhere else.

So Kuromitsu asks him if he would like to follow her…Where?… To eternity! (I would follow her without a second thought^^)

 

This first episode is a nice opportunity to proudly present my new ranking system (Noooo, I’m not copying somebody xD):
