Breaking News: iPhone 4.1 announced
Eheheh, you fan boys sure got told again.
So yeah, I will stick with my iPhone 3G which can multitask now thanks to iOS 4 and I can hold it however I’d like to!
The vote for the next figure photo session ended yesterday evening. (You may take a look at the results at the end of the post here.) The winner is: KOTOBUKIYA’s Nanako Nekomimi Limited Black Version 1:5 – A moe overdose limited to 1500 pieces. She’s just like a figure ...
Since the release of iTunes 9 a few weeks ago I’m using iTunes as my default music player. One thing that bugged for a few weeks was that Genius wasn’t as helpful as I should be. A little info about Genius taken from Wikipedia-sensei for those not familiar with this feature: The Genius ...
The not so funny thing about glass desks is that you have to clean them quite often (right,Danny? ^^;) Fortunately my suddenly acquired Nendoroid daughters Kagamiku and Rin helped this time. . Kagami: “Ughh, we definitely have to do something about that desk and the stuff on it…” .
It’s now two days after watching Evangelion 2.0 in Munich and time for a few words. Note: I’d like to keep this post mostly spoiler free, as it would be a really cruel thing considering the plot of the movie. Starting off with a battle between ...
. As I promised yesterday, here is a review of my latest figure, Arisugawa Shii. She is a pre-painted, 1:7 scaled cold-cast figure from Gathering. Shii is 26cm tall and weights ~0,72kg. I guess only my 1:4 Freeing Mikuru is heavier. (Writing this review while listening to my ...
Here is the Teni photosession finally! Be prepared for some Gothic Lolita fanservice and as she is a cast-off I guess drooling can’t be avoided ^_^ Kinda sleepy today, but after some RedBull Cola and taking GL pantsu shots I’m fully awake. (If this combination doesn’t wake you up you are ...
My Windows 7 RC’s life was quite short as it got replaced (killed?) by Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Retail yesterday. Yeah! Kagami approves!
…some rain must fall… …and Rin seems to enjoy it. She can’t hold back cause she loves Kasuga-stone-lantern-chan that much ^_^ . Had a really hard week since the Router-FAIL a few days ago. But when bad things happen…
(Note: This post was imported from the old blog and looks a little bit messed up. I'm sry for the inconvenience.) Finally got around to take some photos of another figure of mine. This time we are going to take a look at Clare from MegaHouse in 1:8 scale. ...
It has been a while since my latest figure review because most figures released lately weren’t falling in my DO WANT category. Unlike this figure here which was pretty much love at first sight. After several months of waiting (including 2 months delay) Kiriko finally arrived here last week. The original ...
Believe it or not but sometimes a Monday is fine too! Got a bunch of boxes today. Not all of them filled with otaku-ish merchandise though. From left to right: HP ink, Kokonoe Rin 1/6, the Otaku Encyclopedia, and some rori vampire mango. ^^; Unfortunately my HoiHoi-san didn’t arrive yet. According to the ...
The weather became finally better yesterday (quite sunny and temperature ~28°C) so I grabbed Ryomou and Kanu for an outdoor photo session that I planned to do since Monday. The photos turned out better than I thought since I had to use my old camera because my "new" Olympus was used ...

Yes, I’m still alive. No I didn’t give up on this blog. It’s just that:
1.) I can’t find much interesting stuff to write about.
2.) I’m busy job hunting… and playing Bad Company 2

Currently I’m rank 44 (Colonel II) and have already played over 300 hours.
So I guess I’ll have spent enough time online to judge the game.
Some of you might know that my main/gaming rig was powered by an old AMD Dualcore processor from 2007. The power of that “thing” was enough back then but nowadays it is NOT. When my water-cooling systems pump started to make noises like a Leopard 2 tank a few weeks ago, I just felt like it’s time to get a new rig. So for my birthday, I got myself a few boxes full of shiny, new hardware.
Now let’s see what I got after the jump:

The original character was obviously designed by Shunya Yamashita for an anime/manga/figure/ novel/drama-CD project called “Enka Ōdō Dai Shōgun” from Studio Anima. Studio Anima did the animations for Metal Gear Solid 4, Valkyria Chronicles and Ninja Blade so this could turn out quite well.
More details can be found on the official homepage which is unfortunately only available in Japanese. http://www.studioanima.co.jp/dai-shogun/
The didn’t go with the original, purple colour scheme and used a light-purple-ish one instead. I guess this works far better for such a large figure after all.
(This article is one again PC hardware/software related. Sorry for that, but there’s not much going on at the anime-sphere that would be worth blogging at the moment.)
Spring is coming and it’s time for a change…
